A note about delays and detours:
If a bus experiences delays due to an incident, traffic conditions, delayed passenger loading or other factors, the arrival predictions will be adjusted accordingly.
Please note that only 25 buses currently have the technology installed to transmit real-time information. Because of this, it is likely that not every P1 trip will appear on this tracker, even if the trip is in service.
This vehicle tracker is currently in test mode and does not have all the features that the full real-time system will eventually have. For example, this tracker cannot display bus detours. If a bus goes off its normal routing (whether as part of a planned detour or due to an unexpected traffic condition), it will be removed from the tracker until it returns to regular routing. We encourage Port Authority riders to sign up for email notification of planned detours on the bus route(s).
Buses will be removed from the tracker if they are taken out of service due to a break-down or other issue. If a bus is delayed due to an unusual event (such as a reroute, incident, or equipment problem), the arrival predictions may remain the same or may even increase for that bus. In the event that a bus stops transmitting data to our servers, it will not appear on this web-site, even though it is in service.
